ScholarshipHub started as a practical frustration: students needed a clearer way to find opportunities and keep track of scholarship applications.
The first version was not ambitious. It was a focused attempt to make one painful workflow easier. That constraint helped. Instead of trying to build a perfect platform, I could build a useful tool and learn from real behavior.
Shipping it alone meant every decision had a cost. Design, code, copy, launch, support, and maintenance all competed for the same limited attention.
That pressure made the product simpler. In the end, simpler was the point.
