ScholarshipHub
ScholarshipHub is where I prove product ownership beyond delivery. I identified a fragmented student workflow, built the product and business system around it, launched it, found early users, and continue to operate every layer.

The first confirmed conversion from a product built and operated solo.
One applicant. Dozens of moving parts.
The challenge
Scholarship applications rarely fail because students lack ambition. The process breaks when deadlines, eligibility rules, essays, CV versions, references, documents, and follow-ups are spread across tabs, notes, inboxes, and memory.
The response
I designed ScholarshipHub as an application operating system. Each opportunity has a stage, deadline, checklist, documents, notes, and next action. Discovery, preparation, learning resources, tailored materials, and subscription management remain connected instead of becoming separate tools.
- 01Useful to a student before they are ready to pay.
- 02Bilingual for Vietnamese applicants while preserving official English scholarship terminology.
- 03Operable by one founder across product, content, support, analytics, and deployment.
- 04Secure enough for personal documents, account data, payments, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Scholarship discovery, saving, filtering, and shortlisting
- Application stages, deadlines, reminders, and checklists
- Per-program document storage, notes, and preparation status
- Master CV and program-specific tailored CV workflows
- AI-assisted program extraction and essay direction
- Bilingual resources, subscriptions, support, and administration
A visible pipeline from research to result.
The interface is intentionally operational. Students can see which applications need attention, what each program requires, and which deadline is approaching without reconstructing the process from memory.

The product and the business run together.
I own the customer-facing product and the less visible system around it, including authentication, billing logic, email delivery, analytics, content operations, support, security controls, database portability, deployment, and production monitoring.
ScholarshipHub is a founder-owned commercial product. Its infrastructure and operating decisions are optimized for a solo business, but this case study does not claim zero operating cost.
Launch was the beginning of the work.
ScholarshipHub is live, bilingual, monetized, and still being iterated. Its early traction is modest and real. The stronger proof is ownership: I continue to make product, growth, support, infrastructure, and commercial decisions from one operating context, then improve the system based on what production exposes.
